What is it?

With its origins in Osteopathy, Craniosacral Biodynamics is a profound and subtle therapy where the practitioner, through a light contact with the body of the patient, assists in physical and emotional healing processes.

The therapist is a neutral observer who knows the structures of the body, is able to listen to its subtle manifestations and propose paths for the patient’s body to balance itself and access health with its own organic tools.

“The Health of which we speak in osteopathy is at the center of our being and cannot be increased or decreased to a greater or lesser degree. In other words, the health of our body is 100% available, 24 hours a day from conception to death.” Dr. James Jealous

In this path of supporting people´s holistic health, I have incorporated Biomagnetism as complementary therapy to Craniosacral Biodynamics.

Biomagnetism or Biomagnetic Pair, is a therapeutic system developed by Dr. Isaac Goiz Durán since 1988. It uses pairs of magnets in specific parts of the body to fight pathogenic microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites that are the cause of various diseases. The magnets help to balance the PH of the organism, generating an inhospitable environment for pathogenic microorganisms. They regulate hormonal functions and positively affect emotional health.

It is a fast, non-invasive, not medicated technique, with no side effects to address various diseases. Its also a preventive therapy, detecting pathogens before they develop and generate more complex diseases.

Its only contraindications are chemotherapy, radiotherapy, the use of pacemakers or intracorporeal devices that use batteries and during pregnancy.

I started my studies in Bali in 2012, training in Reiki I & II, Massage, Yoga and Craniosacral Therapy (CST). CST captivated me, it taught me to feel my own body and those of others. That was impressive for me. Under my hands I could feel tissues moving, bones, rhythms and the body showing signals of where and how to put my hands. I never imagined this experience coming from a very different area of studies and work.

With the Upledger Institute I completed CST levels I and II in 2013 and SomatoEmotional Release I in 2014, learning the Biomechanical approach of CST. In Bali in 2014, I learned Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) and realized that this was the approach that made sense for me. I deepened my practice by assisting Dr. Adolf Brown D.O. at the world-renowned studio Yoga Barn in Ubud, Bali.

That year I took an interesting course in Shamanism, imparted by The Foundation for Shamanic Studies of Asia founded by the Anthropologist Michael Harner. Realizing that much of what I learned could be applied in the BCST sessions.

Today I am part of the first promotion of BCST practitioners of Chile, a two-year program taught by the Craniosacral Biodynamics Institute of Chile.
